Tyler Hubbard (Monroe, GA) and Brian Kelley (Ormond Beach, FL) met as students at Nashville’s Belmont University, where they wrote songs in-between classes on the tailgate of BK’s Tahoe.
Since then, they’ve changed the game as bona fide global superstars with 16 monster #1s; four chart-smashing albums; and playing to millions of fans during sold-out arena headlining, stadium, and Las Vegas residency shows.
Making music history, the powerhouse pair is the first Country act to achieve RIAA’s DIAMOND certification (10 million copies sold) for their 11X-PLATINUM breakout “Cruise” and have reigned Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for 50 straight weeks with their GRAMMY-nominated, 5X PLATINUM, #1 “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha.
Billboard’s first-ever Trailblazer Award recipients have further expanded their empire with entrepreneurial endeavors: Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey, FGL HOUSE, meet + greet, Tree Vibez Music, and Tribe Kelley. FGL’s latest release, CAN’T SAY I AIN’T COUNTRY(BMLG Records), is out now, with the 2019 CAN’T SAY I AIN’T COUNTRY TOUR launching this summer.
